In a heartwarming collaboration between Expo 2023 Doha, the Ministry of Sports and Youth, and Qatar Sports Federation for All, the inaugural Autism Run 2024 came to life. Held at the picturesque Al Bidda Park on March 9th, the event aimed to raise awareness and support for individuals with autism.
Participants eagerly took to the starting line for races spanning distances from 800 meters to 10 kilometres. With each stride, they showed solidarity and dedication to the cause. The carefully measured courses ensured fairness and accuracy for all runners, with a maximum of 400 participants taking part in the event.
Families, friends, and supporters cheered from the sidelines, creating an atmosphere of unity and encouragement. It was a day filled with joy, as participants crossed the finish line with smiles of accomplishment, knowing they had made a difference in the lives of those with autism.
