Found across Hamad International Airport’s Departures Hall, Tom Classen’s large-scale sculpture, Falcon, depicts the national bird of Qatar in a regal fashion. The Falcon, also known as ‘Saqr’ in Arabic, is cloaked in the traditional Qatari attire, while its curves represent the connectivity Qatar serves to the rest of the world through its diverse and expansive aviation routes.
