
The Accreditation team provides passes that grant access to special areas that are not accessible to the general public. Staff, volunteers, media representatives, service providers and suppliers, all require different accreditation passes depending on their role.
Accreditation Volunteers are the first point of contact for people who require accreditation. They will welcome them and produce personalised access cards and provide accreditations. In addition, volunteers are also responsible for checking data and issuing accreditations at short notice.

The Ceremonies team create and implement the Ceremonies Programme; setting the mood; offering warm and exciting opening and closing ceremonies; and national day and other special day celebrations.
Ceremonies Volunteers assist with the operation and delivery of ceremonies, while Ceremonies Cast Volunteers actually take part and will attend additional training rehearsals to be part of the choreography.

The Ticketing project is responsible for securing and facilitating the access of visitors at each venue by supporting ticketing and access.
Ticketing Volunteers scan visitors Hayya cards, and offer support, advice and problem resolution, as well as assist with ticketing operations.

Events & Cultural Experience delivers a program of cultural activations and entertainment experiences. This may include concerts, parades, stage performances, roaming acts, and other activations. The main objective is to enhance the cultural and entertainment experience of visitors during Expo 2023 Doha.
Events & Cultural Experience volunteers support the performances and the performers, assisting the event organiser to make everything run smoothly. With roaming activations, volunteers help the public to interact, engage with, and understand performances.

The health and Safety at events is responsible for ensuring the well-being and protection of visitors, staff, and participants. Their primary objective is to identify potential hazards, minimize risks, and establish protocols to prevent accidents, injuries, and illness.

Language Services in an event is responsible for facilitating communication between individuals who speak different languages. Its primary objective is to ensure that attendees, staff, and participants can interact, understand, and engage in the Expo 2023 Doha activities regardless of their language proficiency.
Volunteers support our operations by assisting VIPS, media, participants and operations staff to connect with translators and interpreters. They may assist with informal translation, interpretation, proof reading and resource preparation.

The Media and Broadcast team is responsible for providing media representatives with the best possible working conditions and assisting them to find and create reports.
Volunteers support the operation of the media areas, by setting-up media facilities, welcoming the press and media representatives, supporting them with information and resolution of issues. As well, they will support site operations, managing the media around Expo 2023.

Participants are the country representatives and exhibitors coming from around the world to participate in Expo 2023. They create pavilions and gardens, representative of their country, culture and flora. The mission of the Participant Operations functional area is to effectively engage the participants; overseeing and assisting them at every stage of their involvement.
Volunteers assist in managing the visitor experience in pavilions; providing information and aiding visitor flow.

The Protocol team is entrusted with the important responsibility of facilitating, managing, and delivering exceptional protocol services during the visits by VVIPs, VIPs, and international dignitaries. Their primary focus is to provide a seamless and elevated experience for our esteemed protocol guests. From the moment they arrive at the Expo site, our team is committed to delivering the highest standards of hospitality, ensuring their visit is characterized by efficiency, comfort, and tailored support.

Visitor Services and Experience mission is to provide a safe and welcoming experience to Expo 2023 Doha visitors. We ensure they have all the information and assistance they need for an enjoyable and memorable experience. They provide a range of services including crowd management, mobility services, tour guiding for the Schools Programme, and overseeing the visitor journeys and experiences while inside the secure perimeter of Expo 2023.

Workforce Team plays a significant role in creating a cohesive and engaged workforce. They contribute to the overall success of Expo Doha 2023 by ensuring that staff and volunteers are well-supported, motivated, and equipped to provide exceptional services to visitors and participants.
The Workforce Team (staff and volunteers) is responsible for the set-up of the Workforce Centre, managing workforce operations, distributing uniform, supporting the volunteer programme, as well as the overall wellbeing of staff and volunteers during the Expo Doha 2023
