In a significant diplomatic visit, the President of the Republic of Cyprus, His Excellency Nikos Christodoulides, recently graced the Expo 2023 Doha. Accompanied by the Minister of Municipality and Chairman of the National Committee for Hosting Expo 2023 Doha, His Excellency Dr Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Subaie, along with a distinguished delegation of ministers and senior officials, President Christodoulides engaged in an extensive tour of the Expo's most notable facilities and activities.
A highlight of the visit was the President's participation in the ceremonial signing of the VIP visitors' register. Further symbolising the deepening ties between Cyprus and Qatar, His Excellency planted a tree in the International Zone of the Expo 2023 Doha.
The Cypriot delegation also explored the Qatari Pavilion. This visit provided them with insights into the latest advancements in modern agricultural techniques, showcasing state-of-the-art technological equipment pivotal for agriculture.
