Official Inauguration of Mexico Pavilion at Expo 2023 Doha: A Showcase of Landscape Diversity.

The memorable inauguration of the Mexico Pavilion took place on December 7th, 2023. This significant occasion was attended by the Ambassador of Mexico to Qatar, His Excellency Jose Guillermo Ordorica Robles; the Ambassador of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Mr. Almuhannad Ali Al-Hammadi; the General Coordinator of Agriculture, also representing the Secretary of Agriculture and Rural Development of the government of Mexico, His Excellency Santiago Argüello; and numerous ambassadors and other esteemed dignitaries.

The Mexico Pavilion features a variety of traditional and unconventional Mexican agricultural produce while also showcasing diverse landscapes that pulls millions every year. The Mexico Pavilion at Expo 2023 Doha offers a dedicated space for Mexican entrepreneurs and entities to showcase indigenous Mexican plants to the people of Qatar. Furthermore, it highlights Mexico's current advancements in science and technology, with a special emphasis on efforts to combat desertification.

Mr. Argüello stated that the inauguration of the pavilion in Expo 2023 Doha is a pivotal moment for Mexico. The pavilion is seen as an opportunity for Mexico to diversify its agro-produce trade and technology information exchange by extending trade beyond the North American market and into the Middle East, predominantly Qatar.
