HH The Amir Patronizes Inauguration of International Horticultural Expo 2023 Doha
At the opening ceremony of the International Horticultural Expo 2023 Doha, a special moment of unity and environmental consciousness unfolded as His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, joined by esteemed global leaders, embarked on a remarkable tour of the event's pavilions. The Expo, themed 'Green Desert, Better Environment,' hosted a distinguished lineup of dignitaries, including United Arab Emirates President HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Uzbekistan's President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Djibouti's President Ismail Omar Guelleh, Tanzania's President Samia Suluhu Hassan, Iraq's Prime Minister Mohammed Shia' Al Sudani, Yemen's Prime Minister Dr. Maeen Abdulmalik Saeed, and Rwanda's Prime Minister Dr. Edouard Ngirente, in a display of international solidarity.
On this remarkable tour, His Highness the Amir and other global leaders were given a guided tour of fascinating exhibits highlighting agriculture and horticulture in various pavilions of several countries. These countries include Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Oman, Turkey, Italy, and the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf. This experience allowed them to witness innovative approaches to sustainable farming and environmental conservation, aligning perfectly with the Expo's overarching theme.
Accompanied by Personal Representative HH Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani and Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, His Highness the Amir conveyed a powerful message of support for environmental sustainability.
The presence of Sheikhs, Ministers, and various countries' representatives further highlighted this momentous occasion's global significance.
