Guinness World Record Achieved on Qatar National Day
Mazzraty – a Sustainable Food Partner of Expo 2023 Doha and a prominent national food manufacturer – collaborated with Expo 2023 Doha on Qatar National Day to set a new Guiness World Record. This historical achievement involved the creation of the longest sentence made from 40,000 bottles, surpassing the previous record of 32,000 bottles. The inscription, “من خير قطر” (Qatar’s finest), celebrated Mazzraty’s role in the Qatari manufacturing sector and in the nation’s food sufficiency cycle.
Beyond the record-breaking feat, Mazzraty sought to raise awareness on sustainability – especially on the recycling of plastic and the aversion of single use products which are harmful to our environment and have side effects that can take millennia to reverse. This patriotic endeavour highlights Qatar’s flourishing national industrial champions and their ambition to transform into a circular economy.
The Secretary General of Expo 2023 Doha, Mohammed Ali Al-Khoori praised this new milestone, and expressed his gratitude towards Mazzraty for their contribution towards food security and their dedication towards sustainability and environmental preservation. Saad Al Manna, and esteemed board member of Mazzraty, reiterated the company’s firm belief and commitment towards the cause behind Expo 2023 Doha. Mr. Al Manna pledged the company’s support for Qatar’s progress towards sustainability and food security.
The record-breaking sentence, found at the Family Zone of Al-Bidda Park, will be on display well into 2024, providing ample opportunity for visitors to witness this historical accomplishment.
