Expo 2023 Doha participated in the third Waste Management Conference and Exhibition organized by the Ministry of Municipality between May 9 and 10, 2023. During the conference, the Expo announced its sustainability strategy, which aims to promote a culture of sustainable innovation in the State of Qatar and the region and contribute to building a more sustainable world for present and future generations.
The Expo had an informational booth that introduced participants to Expo 2023 Doha, which will be the first international horticultural exhibition in the Middle East and North Africa. Expo 2023 Doha also revealed a comprehensive recycling policy, which is in line with its commitment to encourage visitors to recycle during the exhibition and adopt sustainable practices in their daily lives.
Expo 2023 Doha will be held in Al Bidda Park in the heart of Doha between October 2023 and March 2024. It aims to strengthen its leading position in the field of agricultural and horticultural innovation and inspire the entire region to adopt serious measures and policies to combat desertification and preserve the environment.
