On September 2nd 2023, the Expo 2023 Doha organizing committee launched the final countdown to the Horticultural exhibition with an informative media briefing event that attracted many influencers, representatives from various participating entities and institutions. His Excellency Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Subaie, the Minister of Municipality, emphasised the enormous significance of the upcoming Expo 2023 Doha Horticultural Exhibition. He highlighted its role as a platform for fostering dialogue and research on key environmental challenges, marking the beginning of the final 30-day countdown to the Expo.
The event served as a milestone in the preparations for the Horticultural Expo 2023 Doha, offering an opportunity to review the preparations by various organizing committees. Notably, Omar Al Jaber, a member of the Expo Committee and a representative of Qatar Tourism, shed light on the wide range of activities planned for the event. These activities will include participation from a staggering eighty countries and range from international exhibitions to cultural, folklore, social, artistic, and creative showcases in designated zones. Furthermore, the Expo's Security Committee assured attendees of their comprehensive preparations, focusing on traffic management and entry and exit procedures while ensuring a safe and convenient experience for both citizens and visitors.
