To ensure the enduring legacy of Expo 2023 Doha, a unique postage stamp has been issued to commemorate a significant milestone in Qatar and the world alike. Headlined “Seeding the desert for a green tomorrow”, the stamps were previewed in a display case alongside the signature of His Highness the Father Emir Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani.
The stamp designs feature colourful and creative illustrations of local landmarks carefully selected for their symbolic significance and their embodiment of the aspirations of a thriving nation. Architectural wonders such as the National Museum, the Islamic Museum, the Expo 2023 house are aimed to create a lasting impression on collectors, enthusiasts, and the public.
