Expo 2023 Doha Echoes Commitment to Sustainability with Conference Hosted by the Ministry of Transport

Rooted in the guidelines from the Qatar Highway Design Manual, the discussions highlighted the Ministry's approach to achieving a blend of functionality and aesthetic appeal in road designs, all the while prioritising environmental considerations.

The discussion expanded to examine the broader repercussions of land transport on health and the surrounding ecosystem. Central to this dialogue was the anticipation surrounding the "Strategy for Mitigating Transportation Impact on Environment and Health." This initiative highlights the State of Qatar's holistic approach, as it seeks to resonate with the goals set by the Qatar National Vision 2030 and the foundational tenets of the Transportation Master Plan for Qatar.
