The Omani Pavilion at Expo 2023 Doha is inaugurated under the theme, “We are all custodians of the natural world. It is our duty to preserve it for future generations”. The Sultanate of Oman is renowned for its wide variety of biodiversity and in an effort to present it to their visitors, the pavilion showcases 1,600 plants and shrubs imported from Oman.

Divided into three categories, the pavilion underscores Oman's commitment to global sustainability initiatives. "Carbon Capture" showcases Oman's abundant rock formations offer a promising solution to combat climate change by trapping carbon dioxide in their molecules.

The “Oman Botanic Gardens” serve as a hub for biodiversity conservation and botanical heritage preservation, encouraging individuals worldwide to embrace sustainable practices. Furthermore, the “Green Hydrogen” category showcases Oman's great strides in clean energy and high-tech agriculture, exemplified by the development of a green hydrogen industry, highlight the nation's dedication to innovation and environmental stewardship.

Additionally, the pavilion features the Luban shop which showcases products from 50 Omani small to medium businesses and artisanal shops, promoting local entrepreneurship and sustainability. From natural beauty products to honey, perfumes, and incense, each item reflects Oman's rich cultural heritage and commitment to sustainable sourcing.
